The medical certificate must be accompanied by a current ID photograph, if you do not have one, we can do it at the center for free. Once the medical certificate has been completed, you have 3 months to deliver it to the Civil Guard.
Information on gun permits
Types of licenses:
- Type B – pistols and revolvers
They must be renewed every 3 years. From the age of 60, it must be approved every 2 years, after the interested party has provided a favorable report, issued by an authorized recognition center. From the age of 70, the renewal must be carried out on an annual basis.

- Photocopy of the DNI or, where appropriate, authorization of the interested party to consult their data in the Administration files (Data Verification and Residence System).

- Documents that justify the need for the license.
- Type C – Weapons for surveillance and nursery
The type C weapons license covers firearms of categories 1, 2, 1 and 3, 2, or the weapons of war referred to in section 3 of article 6 of the Weapons Regulations, depending on the service to be rendered.
This license is reserved for security guards and private escorts of security companies, explosives guards and rural guards.
Type C licenses will be valid exclusively during the time of provision of the security service determining their concession and will be invalid when their holders are out of service.
The validity of the licenses will be conditioned to the maintenance of the requirements for their granting. The competent bodies for their issuance can check such maintenance at any time and, if not, they will proceed to revoke them.
In type C weapons licenses, the photograph of the document must be updated every 5 years.

- Certificate or report from his hierarchical superior or from the company, entity or body in which he provides his services, in which it is stated that he has assigned the role for which he is requesting the license, and the location where he has to perform it.
- Photocopy of the DNI or, where appropriate, authorization of the interested party to consult their data in the Administration files (Data Verification and Residence System).
- Photocopy of the document certifying the authorization of the interested party to exercise security functions.

- Type DE – Striped Long Guns for Big Game Hunting
They are valid for 5 years. People over 60 years old will need a visa every 2 years and those over 70 years old must be renewed annually.

- Affidavit of keeping the weapons in a safe.

- Type E – sport shooting weapons and hunting shotguns
Validity of 5 years. From the age of 60, it must be approved every 2 years, after the interested party has provided a favorable report, issued by an authorized recognition center. From the age of 70, the renewal must be carried out on an annual basis.

- Type F – weapons for use in ranges, galleries and firing ranges
License validity period 3 years; Those athletes who, except in exceptional cases, have not carried out sports activities for a year, will lose their type F license.

- Certificate from the Federation or Delegation of Olympic Shooting stating his status as a shooter and the category he holds.

- Photocopy of the federative license of the Federation to which it corresponds, in force.
- Affidavit of keeping the weapons and essential parts in a safe.
