Medical certificate for taxis in Barcelona
The regulations governing taxis in the metropolitan region of Barcelona have been changing in recent times. An example is the recent disappearance of the BTP card.
The Barcelona City Council is currently promoting a new license to drive a taxi, and, like any other driving license, it requires a specific medical certificate to obtain it.
In Travessera Medical Center you can go whenever you want and just by providing ID we can issue the medical report; For this, it must be an official medical center, approved by the DGT, Servei Català de Trànsit and Departament de Sanitat.

Did you know that the BTP driver’s license has ceased to exist?
The objective is to adapt to the existing permit categories in the Single European Driving Permit.
BTP holders may continue to drive the vehicles for which they were previously required, regardless of whether they must meet the requirements established in the sectoral regulations.
BTP holders will not need to change their driving license. When they renew the category B, the mention BTP will no longer appear in the new document.
