Boating licences
Leisure cards are renewed every 10 years, except for those aged over 70, who will renew them every 2 years.
1. Basic Navigation Certificate (PNB)
Authorised to pilot recreational craft up to 8 metres in length if sailing, and up to 7.5 metres in length if motorised, with an engine power appropriate to the craft. In addition, they may pilot personal watercraft.
2. Recreational Craft Master (PER)
Command of recreational craft, motor or motor-sail, up to 12 m in length and with an appropriate engine power, for voyages carried out between the coast and the 12-mile line parallel to it. As well as inter-island navigation in the Balearic and Canary archipelagos.
3. Yacht Master
Command of recreational motor or sailing vessels, up to 20 m in length and with appropriate engine power, for voyages undertaken between the coast and the parallel 60-mile line.
4. Yacht Master
Command of recreational motor or motor-sailer vessels, without any length limit.
You can come WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT to renew your nautical licence; we issue the certificate of fitness for immediate use.
The medical certificate must be accompanied by a current passport photograph; if you don’t have one, we can take it at the centre (included in the cost of the certificate).
