High-Risk HPV Test

Test for the detection of high-risk types of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), using PCR and reverse hybridization (detection and genotyping). It is performed in both men and women through a genital swab.

It is important to note that the sample is taken from cells shed from the genital area, so you should avoid using soaps or products that may remove them, as well as contact with water, approximately 6 hours before the test. Otherwise, the test cannot be performed.

For this type of analysis there is no rapid test; the sample must be sent to the laboratory and the result will be sent by email or delivered at the medical center.

The medical consultation is included in the cost of the test.
